Boneless Chicken with Potatoes
This dish is typically prepared as a dry curry; however, you have the flexibility to adjust it to your preference. If you prefer a more gravy-like consistency, feel free to add some water to the mixture. This will give it a slightly more liquid texture while still preserving all the delightful flavour.
Ingredients
- 1 kg boneless chicken
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 tomatoes
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- Ground red chillies and salt to taste
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and chopped into small pieces
Method
- 1
In a pot, sauté the chopped onions in oil until they become tender.
- 2
Add the tomatoes and salt to the pot and cook until they are mixed in.
- 3
Stir in the spices, including turmeric, ground coriander, and ground red chillies. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the onions and tomatoes are well mixed.
- 4
Add the chopped potatoes to the pot and continue stirring for another 10 to 15 minutes. Then, add the boneless chicken and continue stirring.
- 5
Pour in quarter of cup of water, cover the pot, and let it cook on low heat until the chicken is tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
- 6
Once the chicken is cooked and the potatoes are tender, garnish the dish with chopped green coriander.
- 7
Serve the boneless chicken with potatoes with rice, naans, or chapati.
