🫙 Chutneys
Spring Onions and Green Chillies Chutney
A flavourful chutney that can be served with grilled meats, flatbreads, or rice dishes. It can also be used as a spread for sandwiches. It is my mum's favourite!
Ingredients
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 1 gram of fresh green coriander
- Green chillies (quantity as per your taste)
- Salt to taste
Method

Thoroughly wash the spring onions, green coriander, and green chillies under running water.

Roughly chop the spring onions, coriander, and chillies. This will make the blending process easier.

Place the chopped spring onions, coriander, chillies, and salt to taste in a blender.

Pulse the blender a few times until you get a coarse mixture. It's important not to over blend, as this chutney is meant to retain some texture.

Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning, if needed.

Serve the Spring Onion and Green Coriander Chutney immediately or store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for later use.
