Tea
A classic desi tea with the perfect balance of tea, milk, and sweetness. Adjust the simmering time for your preferred strength.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of loose tea
- Sugar to taste
Method

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil over low heat.

Add the loose tea leaves to the boiling water and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Adjust simmering time based on your preference for strength.

Pour in the milk and increase heat to high. Allow the mixture to come to a boil while stirring occasionally to prevent boiling over.

Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat to low and let the tea simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes. The longer you simmer, the stronger the tea.

Turn off the heat and add sugar to taste, stirring well until the sugar dissolves completely.
