Lemon Water (Nimbu Pani)

A refreshing and popular drink in Pakistan, particularly during hot weather and after fasting. Simple yet delicious, it helps to hydrate and refresh.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 lemon (peeled and seeds removed)
  • Ice cubes

Method

    Take 4 cups of water in a pitcher. Peel a lemon, ensuring all seeds are removed.

    Squeeze the juice of the lemon into the pitcher.

    Optionally blend the lemon juice and water together for a smoother consistency.

    Add ice cubes to the pitcher to chill. Stir gently to combine the flavours.
