Kuchumber Salad
A refreshing and popular Pakistani salad commonly served during the festive occasion of Eid. Kuchumber means "small", named because the ingredients are finely chopped into small pieces. Years ago, during a visit to Pakistan, I had the delightful experience of trying this salad for the first time in a place called Kalal Kahaar, near our village. This simple yet delicious salad can be enjoyed as a side dish or a light snack anytime.
