Yoghurt Salad
A cool, creamy yoghurt salad with crunchy cucumber and juicy tomato — a refreshing side that pairs perfectly with daal, curries, and rice.

Ingredients
- 1 medium Cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 medium Tomato, finely chopped (deseeded if you prefer)
- 1 cup Plain natural yoghurt
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper or roasted cumin powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp Fresh coriander, chopped (optional)
Method

Wash the cucumber and tomato thoroughly.

Finely chop the cucumber and tomato into small even pieces.

Combine the chopped cucumber and tomato in a bowl.

Whisk the yoghurt until smooth, then pour over the chopped vegetables.

Season with salt and (optional) black pepper or roasted cumin powder.

Stir gently until everything is coated in yoghurt.

Garnish with fresh coriander if using. Chill for a few minutes before serving.
