Grilled Kebabs
Delicious and flavourful grilled kebabs made with minced meat and aromatic spices. The addition of potato makes the kebabs beautifully soft. Serve hot with mint chutney or garlic and dates chutney.
Ingredients
- 1kg minced meat
- Chillies (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 medium-sized onion, minced
- Cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 medium sized potato
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
Method

Visit the meat shop and ask for an ordinary minced meat. Also, ask them to mince the onion, potato, green chillies, cumin seeds and garlic along with the meat. Adding the potato will make the kebabs softer.

In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, red ground chillies (according to your preferred level of spiciness), salt, ground coriander, and turmeric.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Shape the mixture into round kebabs.

Preheat your grill and cover the grill tray with foil.

Place the kebabs on the grill tray, ensuring they are evenly spaced apart.

Cook the kebabs on the grill, keeping a close eye on them. The cooking time will vary depending on your grill's heat. Turn the kebabs over once they start to brown to ensure even cooking.

Continue grilling until the kebabs are thoroughly cooked and nicely browned on all sides.

Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill.

Serve the grilled kebabs hot, accompanied by mint chutney or garlic and dates chutney.
