Ginger Curry

A very good recipe, tried and tested for colds. A simple and flavourful ginger curry with a crushed masala base. Can include rice and potatoes for a heartier dish, finished with milk for creaminess.

Ingredients

  • 2 inches
  • 1 onion
  • ¼ to 1/2 tsp of chillies
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk
  • Rice (optional)
  • 1/2g of rice
  • 1/2 tsp of ground coriander

Method

    Blend onions, ginger, and chillies together to create a masala paste.

    Heat oil in a karahi (wok), add the masala paste with chillies and salt. Cook until fragrant.

    Add rice and cook until rice is tender.

    Before serving, add milk and bring to a boil, then remove from heat.

    Serve alongside bread, naan, roti, or as a standalone dish.
